3 nights on, 3 nights off (includes weekends and public holidays)

About Towy Castle

Set within three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home offering high-quality dementia and elderly care. Originally a grand mansion, our home combines traditional charm with modern, person-centred care in a friendly and welcoming environment. Your Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you will help ensure that residents feel safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the night. You'll be a calm and reassuring presence, offering both practical and emotional care.

Responsibilities include:

Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support) Assisting with night-time routines and morning preparations Offering companionship and emotional reassurance to residents Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any concerns promptly Supporting a clean, safe, and peaceful overnight environment Working as part of a close-knit night team to ensure excellent continuity of care

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

Calm, reliable, and caring - especially under pressure Experienced in a care home setting (essential) Familiar with supporting residents with dementia Confident working night shifts and adaptable to changing care needs A proactive team player with strong communication and time management skills Qualified to NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards it)
Experience working night shifts in care is preferred. Full training is provided for the right candidate with the right values.
