Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in both care home and home care settings. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing care plans and assisting with daily activities.

Post is for Nights only.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed. Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to senior staff. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for clients. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Experience or knowledge of care home settings is advantageous. Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial. Previous experience in home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
