Pay & Hours:



12.22 per hour 24 hours per week Nights shift (7pm - 7am) Shift Pattern - Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)

The Role:



As a Care Assistant, you'll support our residents in maintaining their independence and dignity by assisting with everyday tasks and activities tailored to their individual needs.

Key responsibilities include:



Supporting residents with personal care (e.g. washing, dressing, oral hygiene) Promoting independence and improving quality of life Observing and recording physical and emotional wellbeing, and reporting any changes Assisting with meals and hydration to support nutritional needs Encouraging and supporting participation in activities Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents and their families Completing all relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner Assisting with safe mobility and transfers (e.g. from bed to chair) Reporting any safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately.
Full training is provided, so if you're new to the care sector, we'll help you start your journey with confidence.

The Anchorage is a distinguished care home featuring 42 beds, thoughtfully divided into two dedicated dementia communities: the 13-bed enhanced dementia community known as The Haverstoe Suite, and a 29-bed residential dementia community. We are proud to have received an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission during our last inspection, a testament to our commitment to exceptional care.

We offer a range of services, including permanent, respite, and day care, all tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
