Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our night team in providing high-quality care to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of residents. The candidate will be contracted to 33 (3 nights over 7)
33 hours per week, this is three nights over seven and does include weekend working.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and eating
- Support in the implementation of care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with light housekeeping duties
Experience
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in a care home or home care environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Familiarity with care plans and their implementation
