We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting healthy eating habits. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Monitor and record changes in clients' health and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with medication management as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. A genuine passion for helping others and a strong commitment to providing excellent care. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. A valid driving licence may be beneficial for community-based roles but is not mandatory.
