Night Care Assistant - Danygraig Care Home

12.60 per hour

Contract:

Permanent, Part-Time

Hours:

30 hours per week | 3 x night shifts (22:00 - 08:00) on a rolling rota (includes weekends & bank holidays)

We're looking for a compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team at Danygraig Care Home. This is your chance to support residents during the quiet hours, providing safety, dignity, and peace of mind throughout the night.

About Danygraig

Danygraig is a 48-bed residential care home set in a beautiful Grade II listed building with views across the Bristol Channel. We specialise in dementia and mental health care, delivered with respect, compassion, and a genuine sense of community.

Your Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you'll ensure residents feel safe and supported overnight by:

Assisting with personal care and bedtime routines Providing reassurance and emotional support during the night Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes Supporting early morning routines as residents wake Maintaining a calm, clean, and safe environment Working closely with your team to deliver consistent care

What We're Looking For

? Experience in care preferred, but full training provided
? Calm, observant, and dependable
? Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care desirable (or willing to work towards)
? Flexible to work weekends and public holidays as required
