Night Care Assistant - Danygraig Care Home

Location: Porthcawl, CF36 5SR
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Hours: 30 per week | 3 x shifts (20:45 - 07:00) | Includes weekends & bank holidays

We're seeking a compassionate Night Care Assistant to join the team at Danygraig Care Home. During the quiet hours, your presence will ensure residents feel safe, respected, and supported.

About Danygraig

Danygraig is a 48-bed residential care home in a stunning Grade II listed building with views across the Bristol Channel. We specialise in dementia and mental health care, delivered with compassion and dignity in a true community atmosphere.

Your Role

Assist residents with personal care and bedtime routines Provide reassurance and emotional support overnight Monitor wellbeing and respond to any changes promptly Support early morning routines before handover Maintain a safe, clean, and calm environment Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent care

What We're Looking For

? Previous care experience preferred (full training provided)
? Calm, observant, and dependable nature
? Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 Health & Social Care desirable (or willingness to work towards)
? Flexible for weekends and public holidays on a rota
