As a Care Assistant at Farthings, you will provide person centered care and support our residents to maintain their independence, this will include supporting with personal care, at mealtimes and during activities as well as offering emotional support.

Previous experience caring for the elderly would be advantageous, ideally you would have a minimum NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care and Care Certificate or be willing to work towards. However, full training will be given.

We do not offer sponsorship for overseas workers.

We have one

22-hour temporary

post available to cover absence. The shifts will be 1900-0700.

Shifts are pre-planned on the rota and additional shifts can be picked up as and when you choose through our electronic staff rostering app. The hours available will be shift work (07.00-13.00 or 07.00-19.00 or 13.00-19.00 or 18.00-23.00 or 19.00-07.00) including weekends and bank holidays. We pay overtime rates for all bank holidays and provide a workplace pension.
