We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents in a Dementia Specialist care home . This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each resident receives personalised care tailored to their needs. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care and any changes in condition. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations. Support residents in participating in social activities and encourage engagement within the community. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in residents' health status promptly. accompany residents to appointments or social outings when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes is beneficial. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is paramount.
