Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our night team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals within our care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. The hours are 36 hours per week covering any of the 7 days a week, hours are 8pm - 8am.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing etc Follow person centred care plans to individual needs and preferences. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition to be reported to the Nurse in charge. Support clients to maintain their independence. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home setting is desirable but not essential. Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. Excellent command of English for effective communication with clients and team members. A caring nature with the ability to empathise with clients' needs and concerns making them feel at ease..
