Job Summary

We are seeking a

Night Care Assistant for the following following shift:

8 pm to 8 am

36 hours per week

We require a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for our service users.

Responsibilities

Assist our service users with their personal care; including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Adhere to health and safety regulations within our environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferable. A good command of English is essential for effective communication with our residents and colleagues. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records using our electronic care planning and medication administration systems. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
