Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality support to our residents. Located in a nurturing environment, this role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals in our care, aligning with our mission to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record residents' health status and report any changes. Support residents with mobility and physical activities. Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living environments is preferred. Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's care practices. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Certification in basic life support (BLS) is a plus. Familiarity with medical documentation and patient care protocols.
