Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in a home care setting. This position requires a driver, excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in adhering to their care plans and ensure their needs are met. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively. A valid driving licence . A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
