. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring they receive appropriate support. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Communicate regularly with healthcare professionals and family members regarding client care. Support clients in social activities and encourage engagement within the community. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in your care are essential qualities for this role.
