We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' well-being, and promoting independence. Responsibilities
Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals with mobility and daily activities in accordance with their care plans.
Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Engage in meaningful communication to understand residents' needs and preferences.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
Support clients with household tasks to promote independence and comfort.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Document observations and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to senior staff promptly.
Drive clients to appointments or outings, ensuring safe transportation when required.
Skills
Valid driving licence preferred.
Experience providing home care is advantageous.
Ability to understand and follow individualised care plans effectively.
Good skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build trust with residents and their families.
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
