About Us



The McGuire Household is looking for a personal care assistant to care for a family member, from 5-10 hours a week to care for a friendly, cheery quadriplegic man.

I enjoy life and enjoy spending time talking with others. I'm a social person and like to get out and about regularly. I love listening to audio books and hoping to find a care assistant that is a kind, enthusiastic, committed, motivated and flexible person to join my home care team. Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Responsibilities of the Role:



Supporting client with his personal care Administering medication Light housework Preparing healthy meals Accompanying client to appointments and social outings Supporting client to pursue their interests and hobbies

What I'm looking for:



A genuine people person Someone who enjoys building a relationship with the the person they care for An adaptable, flexible and professional approach Empathy and consideration An ability to follow instructions and care plans A good level of English, both verbally and in writing The ability to solve problems, and spot new ways for us to do better and be better

A full driver's licence for a manual car
