is located in the beautiful setting of Pickering, a lively and welcoming market town packed with a range of independent shops and cafes. The village is in a beautiful setting, with a thriving community which includes apartments and bungalows allowing our residents to live as independently as they desire in their own homes.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our well-established team as a
Care Assistant.
To provide all aspects of care and personal support to clients primarily on a one-to-one basis in their own home (no travel is required as all residents live within the village).

Responsibilities:
Support our residents with personal care, domestic support, emotional care and companionship
Update develop and review personal care plans
Respond to calls for emergency assistance and support and summon the necessary help
Assist residents with mobility problems
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided and paid time will be given to undertake the appropriate courses
Qualifications:
Not necessary as full training given but appropriate Care Certificate is desirable.
Willingness and desire to learn and working as part of a team
Hours
20 hours per week on a rota basis to cover both early and late shifts and some weekends.
Due to the nature of the environment the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check - paid for by us.
