Permanent, Part-Time

Hours:

24 hours per week

Shifts:

2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | 3 shifts per week on a rolling rota (includes weekends and public holidays)

About Towy Castle

Set in three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with sweeping views over the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home offering high-quality dementia and elderly care. Your Role

As an Evening Care Assistant, you'll play a vital part in helping residents wind down and settle in for the night, ensuring comfort, companionship, and calm.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting residents with evening personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Assisting with mobility and bedtime routines Offering emotional support and friendly companionship Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and peaceful environment

What We're Looking For

Kind, patient, and compassionate individuals Reliable, respectful, and committed to delivering high standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Calm, flexible, and able to adapt in a fast-paced care setting Previous care experience is preferred but not essential Full training and ongoing support will be provided
