Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part time Care Assistant to join our team at The Raikes. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential support and care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and friendly environment. Help with mobility and physical activities to promote independence. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Ensure a clean and safe living environment for all residents.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members. Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.

Additional Information

This role requires a DBS check to be completed, you will be required to pay for this but will be reimbursed on successful completion of a 6 month probation. Part time hours available, we can offer days or nights (16-30 hours) Day shift patterns vary, you will be required to work a mixture of early and late shifts, and all staff work alternate weekends. Night shifts are 8pm-8am.
