Avon Park Residential Home has been providing high quality care to the elderly for over 30 years with facilities approved by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) along with fully trained staff who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of all residents.

We are currently looking to recruit a Care Assistant (NVQ Level 2/3 qualifications preferable) with the desire to further their career in the Care Industry within our home. Individuals with previous care and medication experience is essential.

See below for an insight into the role:

Help with going to bed at night & getting up in the morning - all in line with the person's care plan. You will need to be able to work every other weekend. Ensure that service users' needs are met in line with their care plan. Carry out regular checks of service users at intervals as agreed on care plans and with due regard for service users' privacy. Ensure that residents are always kept safe from harm in line with the care home's safeguarding policies and are not discriminated against in any way. Write and maintain accurate records of care on a daily basis. Assist in the care of maintaining skin integrity over pressure points, recognizing and reporting all adverse findings to nurses. Assist with activities and events when required.
