Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in the luxury 15 bed care home. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation Supporting individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing emotional support. Implementing and following care plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilising IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Care Assistant position, candidates should possess:

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication tasks. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to vulnerable individuals. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
