We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Support clients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their independence. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting clients as needed. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communication. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Pay: 12.60-17.10 per hour
