Care Assistant (Please note, we do not provide visa sponsorship)

We are looking for someone who is kind and thoughtful with a positive attitude and a willingness to work in the best interests of our residents at all times in our small 17 bed residential care home.

You will have delegated responsibility to provide care and support and promote wellbeing to adults using residential care. Not only will you be supporting personal care, but also supporting social activities in house and in the community.

You will be able to deliver high quality care based on resident's individual assessed needs, wishes and choices as per their individual personal plan.

Ideally you will have SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this, and have previous experience in a care environment.

You will be required to become registered with the SSSC on the correct part of the register within the required timescales and to maintain registration.

You will have a drive and willingness for personal development, participating in internal and external training to meet the requirements for your role.

You will have the ability to actively listen and be able to communicate effectively with others.

This post requires you to work shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.

You will be required to have an enhanced disclosure check carried out.

Full or part time hours considered.

Pay: 12.90-13.30 per hour
