Care Assistant
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a part-time care assistant to work one or two days per week, usually from 10am until 2pm, assisting a lady in her own home.
There will be extra hoyrs available from time to time and there may be an opportunity to increase the number of days per week in the future, if desired.
The main duties required in this role are some aspects of personal care, cleaning, cooking, collecting shopping and prescriptions and driving to medical appointments from time to time.
Previous experience of working within the care sector may be advantageous.
Applicants will be reliable and conscientious with good timekeeping.
Applicants will have a genuine desire to work in the care sector and provide a high standard of care.
Applicants will be a member of the PVG scheme or be willing to become one prior to commencing employment.
Applicants will have a driving licence and their own vehicle.
