Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes or care homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities and personal care while fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans, documenting any changes in the client's condition or needs. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required to provide services. Engage clients in social activities and conversation to enhance their quality of life. Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining electronic records and communication. A valid driving licence is advantageous for those providing home care services.
