Join Bayswood Care Group as a Care Assistant in Poulton Le Fylde. In this vital role based in our caring community, you will support residents' daily needs, promote their well-being, and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional, personalized care. Located in Poulton, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, ensuring residents' comfort and dignity. Monitor residents' health by observing their condition and reporting changes. Support medication administration and maintain accurate care plans. Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to hygiene standards. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive person-centered care. Follow all health and safety regulations, including CPR and first aid procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience or interest in elder or disability care (preferred but not required). Valid CPR and First Aid certifications. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Basic understanding of health monitoring techniques such as vital signs. Knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus. Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development. Respect for residents' privacy and individual needs.
