Job Description

We are currently seeking a Care Assistant with some previous experience in a residential care home setting and administrating medication to join our team at Ashleigh Rest Home. The role you will be responsible for is providing care and support to our residents who have dementia and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.

Due to Ashleigh Rest Home being a small, privately owned home, unfortunately, we will not be able to sponsor overseas applications.

Responsibilities:

You will support the residents with their daily social needs and hobbies, ensuring that the residents are safe and assisting with personal care when required. Help prepare light meals and carry out laundry duties.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting would be an advantage. Good communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.41 per hour
