Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in English, and have the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to care practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to drive is preferred for positions involving home visits. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is beneficial. A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of clients.
