We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes or care homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities and personal care while fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in maintaining their independence by helping with daily living activities. Develop and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients when necessary. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
