Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Assist clients with medication management and meal preparation. Support clients in maintaining their independence through companionship and mobility assistance. Follow care plans accurately to ensure personalized support. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations including HIPAA.

Qualifications

Proven experience in home health or senior care preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR. Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills. Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely. Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration and vital signs monitoring. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license is a plus.
