Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Implementing and following care plans tailored to individual needs. Providing companionship and emotional support to residents. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring health conditions. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in residents' conditions. Ensuring a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Engaging in regular communication with family members and healthcare professionals regarding the well-being of residents. Driving may be required for transporting residents to appointments or activities.

Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting. Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans. Proficiency in English for effective communication with residents and team members. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
