Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and adhering to dietary requirements.
Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
Support clients with activities and outings, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs and reports.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is an advantage.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not essential.
