Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nepalese-speaking Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients. A driving licence is preferred for this role, as it may involve transporting clients to appointments or activities.

Responsibilities



Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Follow individual care plans to ensure personalised support for each resident. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care and well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions. Support residents in engaging with social activities and maintaining their independence. Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.

Requirements



Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is preferred for transporting clients when necessary. Familiarity with creating and following care plans is an advantage. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
