Here at Right at Home we care for clients who have varying needs, some live with Dementia and may also have limited mobility as well as other needs.



We are looking for Care Assistants who have a caring nature and ideally someone who holds a driving licence with regular access to a car to be able to support our clients throughout Skipton areas

.

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Supporting with personal care Assisting with dressing/undressing Meal preparation Shopping Appointments Housekeeping Companionship Promoting independence Support with medication




The role requires travel in and around Skipton. Mileage is paid between clients at 0.30 a mile.



We offer flexible hours from 6 hours per week up to 20 hours per week.



All care visits are a minimum of 1 hour allowing time to provide quality care.



We provide thorough training including medication administration and moving & handling.



There are opportunities to progress into senior roles.



We also run CareGiver of the month Award.





It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults at risk.
