Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our friendly and down to earth team. Shifts

Weekend (12hrs Days & Nights) (08:00-20:00 / 20:00-08:00) Week Days (Nights) (20:00-08:00)
Work schedule is flexible and shifts/days & nights can be selected by the members of staff allowing flexibility and a good work/life balance.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring all needs are met effectively Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Help with medication management in accordance with prescribed instructions Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition Support clients with meal preparation and light domestic tasks Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff

Requirements

Ability to commute to location (driving or public transport) Experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training can be provided Past experience of dealing with spinal injuries is a benefit, however not a requirement Knowledge of care plans and procedures relevant to individual needs Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Compassionate nature with strong organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding care

Pay: 12.90 per hour
