We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team in a specialist dementia care home. You will play a vital role in supporting residents with dementia to live with dignity, comfort, and joy. This is more than a job--it's a chance to make a meaningful difference every single day

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents with varying stages of dementia. Assist with daily living activities including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Support residents during mealtimes, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Engage residents in meaningful activities and reminiscence therapy to promote wellbeing. Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional health. Maintain accurate care records and follow individual care plans. Promote independence and respect residents' choices and preferences. Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members. Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety standards at all times.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in care (especially dementia care) Genuine compassion and patience for working with individuals living with dementia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Willingness to learn and adapt to residents' changing needs.
