We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in our care home. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities



Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence Follow care plans accurately to meet each individual's specific needs Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure coordinated care Support the organisation of activities that promote social engagement and well-being

Qualifications



Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits or community-based support Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' needs Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and respect for diverse backgrounds

Pay: 12.53-13.50 per hour
