Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to support individuals in our care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised care, ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of clients. Duties



Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained. Support clients with medication management and adherence to personalised care plans. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, respecting dietary needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in client condition or behaviour. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery. Support clients in attending appointments or outings using personal or organisational transport arrangements. Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.

Requirements

:

Experience working within a care home or providing care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided. Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately. Good command of English language skills for effective communication with clients and team members. Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes. Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach towards clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about caring for others who wish to develop their skills within the healthcare sector while making a positive impact on people's lives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.36 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
