Domiciliary Care Assistant

Standish, Wigan
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Full time and part time roles available

Care Choice North West is expanding our community team in Standish. We are looking for people who genuinely care, show up, and want to make a difference to local residents living at home.

What the role involves

You will visit clients in their own homes and support them with day to day tasks. This may include:

Personal care and helping with daily routines Support with meals, medication prompts, and mobility Light household tasks to keep the home safe and comfortable Recording what support has been provided
You work independently but you are part of a supportive team that is always on hand when needed.

What we are looking for

Friendly, patient, and reliable Good communication skills Previous care experience helps, but full paid training is provided A driving licence and access to a car is helpful, not essential Someone who wants to help people stay independent at home

Hours

Morning and lunchtime calls run from 6.30am to 2.00pm
Afternoon and evening calls run from 3.00pm to 10.00pm
You will work alternate weekends as part of a fair rota
