As a Care Assistant at Lansbury Court , you'll be a vital part of our dedicated care team. You'll support residents with their daily needs, always treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness. Your responsibilities will include:



What You'll Be Doing



Delivering personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene



Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments



Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy



Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment



Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional wellbeing



Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences



Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture

About Lansbury Court Care Home



A former mining community, Castletown is an area of Sunderland north of the River Wear and close to Hylton Castle. With good road access to Wessington Way, Lansbury Court care home is a single-storey modern home that has been purpose-built to provide specialist care tailored to both younger adults and older people living with dementia.
