Job Title: Care Assistant

Duties:

- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or residential care settings

- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry

- Escort clients to appointments or social outings

- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient demeanour

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is preferred, but not required
