We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties



Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, and mobility. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and health needs. Follow and implement personalised care plans to meet each individual's specific requirements. Encourage social interaction and engagement to promote mental well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and observe any changes in health or behaviour. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure high standards of care. Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Support the organisation of activities and outings to enhance quality of life. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment at all times.

Qualifications



Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided. Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving community visits or outings. Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication. Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes. Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach towards service users. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals and improve their quality of life. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.42 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
