Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Carers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals through home care services. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to follow care plans meticulously. As a Community Carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you support.

Duties



Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing companionship and emotional support. Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care is delivered effectively. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide updates on individual progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the health or behaviour of clients. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to care practices and IT systems used for documentation. Assist clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.

Skills



Previous experience in a care setting or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to drive and have access to own vehicle. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining accurate care records is beneficial. Understanding of how to implement and adhere to individual care plans effectively. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to vulnerable individuals.
