Care Assistants

to join our expanding team of care and support staff. Your role will be varied, but will involve supporting people with personal care, eating and drinking and meaningful activity.

Suncourt House provides residential and nursing care at our small friendly home in Troon. If you're a kind, warm and compassionate person and like to have a positive impact on peoples' lives, then working as a Care Assistant for Suncourt will be the right role for you.

Suncourt House is situated in Troon and has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Our home offer care for people who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for those who have more complex medical needs, and respite care.

You will be delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their hygiene, as well as ensuring they feel part of life in the home. You also will develop relationships with our residents' relatives which will support you in understanding their needs more and developing that person centred care.

If you are a hardworking team player who wants to work in a thriving community, understand what is important to those you are caring for and make sure their lives are as happy as they can be, then the role of a Care Assistant could be perfect for you. Although a social care related qualification is desired, if you possess these qualities then previous experience of working as a Care Assistant isn't necessary. We provide you with excellent learning, development and support opportunities, to equip you with the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the role. We will expect you to work to achieve excellent outcomes for residents in accordance with the Health and Social Care Standards for Scotland.

The company offers opportunities via online learning and practical skills training and support to work towards your SVQ 2 or 3 qualification. We are an accredited training provider of SVQ 2 and 3 Health and Social Care. You must be able to work 12 hour shifts and have some knowledge of the challenges that can face people living with Dementia.

We are not currently offering UK Sponsorship.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.60 per hour
