We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in their home care setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while working collaboratively with other staff members. You must be a car driver to apply.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each person's needs are met effectively. Maintain a clean and safe environment for persons by following health and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with persons, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care and any changes in condition. Support persons in social activities and encourage participation to promote mental well-being. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in persons' conditions to senior staff. Drive to various locations if required for home care visits or community activities.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them accurately. Experience in a home care setting is essential. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards residents' needs.
