We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities and promoting a high standard of care for our clients.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in following their individual care plans to meet their specific needs.
Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive adequate nutrition.
Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to report any changes in health or behaviour.
Maintain accurate records of client care and progress using IT systems as required.
Drive clients to appointments or social outings when necessary.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide personalised support.
Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping is advantageous.
A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients as needed.
A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the lives of those you support.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.

We work closely with families, the local authority and other professionals and aim to provide a high standard of care, empowering our Service Users to remain as independent as possible by providing personal and social care and domestic assistance tailored to individual needs.
No experience required as training is provided.
