Caremark Warrington, the Mark of EXCELLENT Care, is seeking a Care Assistant to join Warrington. As this is a new office, you'll have a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and experience to become a best-in-class care provider, building from the ground up, with an excellent support structure from a leading national care provider behind you.
In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and have a genuine passion for helping others.
Duties
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all aspects of care are met.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding any changes in residents' conditions.
Support residents in engaging with social activities and promote their independence as much as possible.
Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Drive residents to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their comfort during transportation.
Requirements
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and communicating with team members.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
A valid driving licence is necessary.
A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the service users.
