Job Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of Care 4U Care Limited, Rotherham. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Help prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Ensure that the living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the client's well-being. Communicate effectively in English with clients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care records is advantageous. A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients or travelling between locations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and their families.
