We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team for evenings and weekend work, providing high-quality support to individuals in home care settings. Responsibilities

Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility assistance Supporting individuals with daily activities in accordance with personalised care plans Providing companionship and emotional support to clients and service users Assisting with medication management and administering prescribed treatments as directed Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Supporting the organisation of activities and social engagement opportunities for residents Ensuring a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations

Experience

Previous experience working within home care environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Knowledge of care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations A caring attitude, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 14.50-17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week
