Overview

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support with mobility, transferring, and repositioning Help with meal preparation and feeding Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition Administer medication (if trained and required) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with household tasks (e.g. cleaning, laundry, shopping) Maintain accurate care records Follow health and safety procedures and infection control standards Work collaboratively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other care staff

Requirements:

Compassionate, patient, and reliable Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations Basic understanding of health and hygiene Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable) Willingness to undergo DBS check and relevant training
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
